Handling of Personal Information
The City Diversity and Inclusion Division of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Division”) is committed to the proper and fair handling of personal information as described below.
Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
The Division complies with governmental laws and regulations in Japan related to personal data protection such as the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), a set of by-laws adopted by the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation called the “Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation Personal Data Protection Rules and Regulations,” and other rules and regulations regarding the protection of personal information.
How the Division collects and uses personal information
When collecting your personal information, the Division will clearly identify the purposes for which the personal information is collected and used, and it will not use the personal information for any purposes other than the purposes originally specified.
Provision of personal information to third parties
The Division will not provide your personal information to any third parties without your consent, unless it is permitted or required by governmental laws or regulations in Japan or unless exceptional circumstances require.
