Caution: Typhoon Haishen
The very powerful Typhoon Haishen (no. 10) is now approaching Kyushu. According to the weather forecast, it could bring torrential rains and gale force winds in Hiroshima Prefecture from September 6 (Sunday) to 7 (Monday).
Typhoon Haishen will be very intense and could cause severe damage. Please check the most up-to-date information and be sure to stay prepared in the following ways:
- Have flashlights and a radio ready in case of a power outage. Keep your phone charged.
- Items such as flowerpots and laundry poles may be blown away. Keep them inside or secure them so they cannot move.
- Check in advance where your local emergency evacuation shelters are with the following:
