At the end of January 2026, the City sent school enrollment notifications (入学通知書 nyūgaku tsūchi-sho) to parents and guardians of children who will begin elementary or junior high school this April.

The notification tells you which school your child will attend and when. Keep it in a safe place and submit it to your child’s designated school on April 1 (enrollment day, not entrance ceremony day).

🖐 If you have not received your notification or have lost it, please contact theSchool Affairs Division of the Municipal Board of Education (Tel. 082-504-2469).
