From City of Hiroshima: Help us make a better Hiroshima! Hiroshima City Multiculturalism Survey
What is the Hiroshima City Multiculturalism Survey?
Once every ten years, the City of Hiroshima conducts a survey to better understand the opinions of its international residents. The answers will be helpful in creating a comfortable place to live for both Japanese and international residents alike.
Who will be asked to fill out the survey?
This year, we will be sending surveys to 5,000 randomly chosen international residents of various backgrounds who are 18 years or older. These surveys are anonymous; there is no need to write your name. Any opinions or answers we receive will be kept anonymous if made public.
How do I fill out the survey?
We ask that you (the person this survey was addressed to) please write your own opinions. You can also dictate your opinions for someone else to write for you.
❉ The name on the envelope is the name that you have registered with the City of Hiroshima.
❉ If you’re unsure what a question means or do not want to answer it, you can leave it blank.
❉ The questions are available in Japanese and in foreign languages, but the meaning of the
questions is the same. Please pick one survey and write your answers in one language only.
❉ When you have completed the survey, please put it into the small reply envelope enclosed.
Please post your responses to City Hall by putting it into a nearby mailbox (no stamp required)
by Friday, September 30.
