Confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hiroshima City
A case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Hiroshima City on Friday, March 6.
The patient was a male resident of Hiroshima City in his 30s. He was admitted to a local hospital with a fever and cough. On Wednesday, March 11, he was declared free of the virus and left the hospital.
Eight people who had come into close contact with him (e.g. family, coworkers, other patients in the hospital) were checked for infection, but no one had the virus.
Please keep good hygiene habits (e.g. handwashing, coughing) to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
